After almost nine years of waiting, Tesla is preparing to unveil the new generation of the Roadster. π
But according to the latest series of teasers, this could be much more than an electric supercar. The connection that is emerging is:

It all started when Tesla published a new teaser with the mysterious caption
"GO FOR LAUNCH"
And below it the date: 10/1/26
Meanwhile, the Roadster website shows a countdown to October 1, with pre-order holders already having received invitations to an event to be held in Waco, Texas.
But the teaser itself is the intriguing part.
When the image is inverted and the contrast is increased, a shape resembling the rear of the vehicle appears, with four thrust plumes emerging from the back.
And the interpretation -
Is Tesla going to put four SpaceX Cold-Gas Thrusters into the car?
- This is precisely the technology Elon Musk has spoken about in the past as part of the vision for the Roadster. π
Hidden text was also identified within the teaser, revealed only after refining the image - "WHERE WE'RE GOING..."
An almost direct reference to the movie "Back to the Future" and the famous line from it:
"Where we're going - we don't need roads." π
And this connects almost perfectly to the vision presented over the years β a Roadster that not only drives fast but is also capable of using an additional propulsion system to generate thrust and even lift off the ground. π
And here we connect another piece of the puzzle:
The event will be held in Waco, Texas, about 30 minutes from SpaceX's test facility in McGregor,
McGregor is one of SpaceX's important centers for engine and propulsion system testing. π

According to earlier reports, Tesla was working on a special version of the Roadster that would use a Cold-Gas Thrusters system to add thrust to the vehicle. π
The system is supposed to give the car supercar capabilities.
The reported plans even included extreme demonstrations:
Entering a demonstration track, driving on a roller-coaster-like ramp, driving inverted, flipping back, activating the Thrusters, lifting off the ground, remote operation, demonstration from a significant distance from the audience due to noise and vibrations.

Reports indicate the possibility of a regular Tesla Roadster alongside a Roadster SpaceX Edition, a more extreme version that will incorporate SpaceX's propulsion system. π‘
If this happens β it's something Tesla has never offered.
The original performance figures Tesla presented were already almost absurd:
0-60 miles per hour: 1.9 seconds maximum speed: over 250 miles per hour,
Range: up to about 620 miles.
But if the Thrusters truly come into play β these figures become secondary.
