We identified an unusual trade in Intel: $2.04 billion off-exchange in one day, a historical record, exactly one day before the stock soared 12%๐
$INTC ๐ฅ
A few days ago, we identified a very unusual off-exchange trade in Intel, amounting to approximately $2.04 billion, at a price of $108.60 per share. ๐ต
This involved approximately 18.8 million shares, the largest dark pool trade we have ever seen in Intel stock. ๐
And the number becomes even more interesting when looking at the last two months. ๐จ
Approximately $8 billion in dark pool activity accumulated in Intel in just two months. ๐ต
This trade alone accounts for approximately 30% of this total volume. ๐จ
The last unusual off-exchange (dark pool) trades we identified:
๐ต September 18 - $2.04 billion at $108.60.
๐ต September 15 - approximately $975 million at $97.14
๐ต September 10 - approximately $536 million at $100.32
๐ต September 4 - approximately $590 million at $95.80
๐ต August 11 - $1.18 billion at $97.71
๐ต July 29 - $1.02 billion at $81.88
๐ต August 31 - approximately $285 million at $89.51
๐ต August 21 - approximately $275 million at $92.13
And the part that interests us here is the history of large trades,
On December 20, 2025, we identified a trade of approximately $1.4 billion at a price of $36.82, after which Intel soared to $54. ๐ผ
On April 29, a trade of over $1 billion was recorded at $84.52; within approximately two months, the stock surged by about 66% to new highs. ๐ผ
On August 11, a trade of $1.18 billion was recorded at $97.71, after which the stock rose to $106.78. ๐ผ
In other words, in the past, there have been several instances where unusual dark pool trades appeared around significant price levels, followed by an upward movement. ๐
And today, the stock soared 12%: a coincidence?
Or, whales with a crystal ball again? ๐ณ
