There is a lot of fake news currently regarding the Strait of Hormuz!

According to our checks, the Strait of Hormuz has not been closed.

According to an official report by Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority, and based on the memorandum of understanding with the US, passage through Hormuz will be granted to vessels that submit requests in accordance with the required demands.

The Authority warns: requests submitted through unofficial channels will not be considered.

Passage requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.

Vessels will not be charged passage fees for 60 days.

Meaning, no payment, but approval is required!

There are no official reports of the closure of the strait as of now.
