The race to a trillion?

A twist in Musk's plot that changes the whole picture

Remember last week's rumors?

We talked here about a possible massive SpaceX IPO at an imaginary valuation amid reports that the company is raising funds at a huge valuation of $800 billion...

At that moment, Elon Musk issued a sweeping denial, claiming there was no fundraising on the table; according to him, the company is flush with cash and not looking to raise more money externally.

But last night?

The cards were reshuffled.

New reports confirm the IPO is approaching, and the estimated valuation crosses the $1,000,000,000,000 mark (yes, a trillion).

Just to put it in perspective, such a move is worth an additional $400 billion to Musk's personal wealth, already estimated at around $350 billion.

But wait, something doesn't add up here?

The IPO is intended to raise cash, and a lot of it.

According to reports, the SpaceX IPO is expected to raise over $30 billion, making it the largest fundraising in history, even surpassing Saudi Aramco, which has held the top spot in recent years.

But Musk claimed there was no need for money, so what changed?

Tonight Musk officially confirms the reports and reveals the real reason, many investors are surprised!

But... we're not...

Server farms in space.

To understand Musk's mind, you need to listen to people who have been there.

Abhi Tripathi, a former senior executive at SpaceX who worked at the company for over a decade, clarifies the puzzle:

"The moment Musk realized that Starlink satellites could be architected as a distributed network of data centers, the writing was on the wall. That's when an IPO went from 'unlikely' to the obvious strategic move." The logic is simple and brutal: the race for AI is a race for resources; whoever holds the fastest assets and the largest war chest will win?

An IPO now is Musk's way to build a cash 'bunker' that will leave competitors in the dust.

Ultimately, it all converges to one point: computing power and energy.

Musk's ecosystem, which includes autonomy, robotics (Optimus), and artificial intelligence, is hungry for energy.

The big winner will be whoever solves the following equation:

Maximum computing power + enormous cooling capabilities + the cheapest energy.

Musk's answer?

Space, where it's cold (temperatures around zero), and the sun provides infinite energy for free.

But he's not alone in the game

While Musk plans the IPO, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) revealed its own 'bomb' yesterday:

Jeff Bezos, the sworn rival, has a secret team that has been working for over a year on developing data centers in space.

Musk,

who heard the news from Bezos's side, responds tonight on X with interesting data:

"SpaceX currently holds a larger number of active satellites than all other satellites in the world combined; we probably understand something about this topic." Musk provides us with some interesting technical details:

"Starlink V3 will have a power output of 20kW and is slated for large-scale launch in Q4 of next year. If we shift the satellite's mass from the enormous phased array antenna for internet connection towards a solar array and heat radiators for AI computations, the power output can easily expand to over 100kW." This is an unusual figure: a satellite with 100kW capabilities, with plans to launch thousands of such satellites...

According to Musk, AI satellites (yes, they already have a name) will use a laser communication system identical to Starlink's to connect to Starlink.

Musk even explains that "AI satellites are no harder to design than Starlink V3, and even easier; Starlink V3 is an engineering marvel created by an epic team."

And concludes proudly, "I am very proud of the SpaceX team."

Did you think that was all?

Not at all..

Further reports we found confirm Musk's giant vision.

And it's nothing less than the construction of massive data centers on the moon.

But that's information in itself; we'll prepare it for you soon...

2026 is shaping up to be the turning point. This is no longer science fiction; this is the battle for the economic infrastructures of the future; the fastest will win.

We will continue to follow and update you on every development.

In the upcoming post, we will reveal which company foresaw where everything was headed and just this week completed a process that places it at the forefront of technology in deploying AI satellites in space.

Can you guess already?
