The Pentagon prepares for a "final blow" scenario against Iran $USO
Tensions in the Persian Gulf are escalating significantly, as reports indicate the Pentagon is currently formulating far-reaching military options aimed at delivering a decisive blow to Iran.
What is called - one and done.
Or in other words - the United States is preparing a doomsday scenario for Iran.
These plans include the possibility of using ground forces alongside a massive bombing campaign - an unprecedented move not seen before.
Official sources in the United States present four main options for carrying out the "final blow":
1. Invasion or blockade of Kharg Island: This is the most sensitive point for the Iranians; this island serves as the country's main oil export center - an attack on it is essentially a direct blow to the regime's oxygen.
2. Occupation of Larak Island: This island is considered a strategic asset, allowing Iran to establish its control over the Strait of Hormuz.
On this island are located the naval base of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and port infrastructure, and it plays a role in controlling vessels at sea.
The area plays a role in monitoring and controlling the passage of vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, and effectively constitutes a bottleneck and a traffic management point.
This island is particularly important due to its strategic location, which allows for the screening of vessels and target identification; it is used to influence vessels passing through the channel and as a center for military response.
Remember the name - Larak Island
3. Seizure of Abu Musa Island and nearby islands: These islands are located at the western entrance of the Strait of Hormuz - and although they are under Iranian control, there is a claim of ownership over them by the United Arab Emirates, which makes the move interesting also from the aspect of regional alliances.
4. Stopping or confiscating oil tankers: Focused activity against ships exporting Iranian oil on the eastern side of the Strait of Hormuz - with the aim of physically blocking Iran's ability to trade its main resource - oil.
And what if....
Trump wants to pursue all 4 options together?
You are probably asking - why would Trump consider the most extreme direction?
The answer is simple -
Trump wants to end the war.
It is almost clear that after implementing all four options - it will be a swift move after which Trump will declare an end.
The problem is that "ending" without victory is not an option for Trump...
Therefore, he needs the final move to look good for the victory photo.
And the best way to do that is with a show of force of the best weapons - bombings, and the American fighting force...
A super interesting weekend ahead of us?
