Good evening to all channel members.
It is important for us on the channel to provide you with added value, so this time, here are some important things regarding the stock market and the current situation. After a long period of nice rallies, we are seeing the market struggle to rise. We are now at critical stages regarding its direction: towards a stronger correction or continued gains?
- No one can give you a 100% certain answer to this question, therefore, here are a few important things as investors:
- Never put all your eggs in one basket! – Your investments must be diversified across different sectors
- Buying in tranches, the most correct way to buy stocks is to buy in tranches divided into 3 or 4 portions so that if the price drops, you can buy at a lower price, and buy on corrections!
- Patience – one of the problems investors face is a lack of patience. In my opinion, this is what causes the most losses; sometimes it takes time for a stock to reach its target.
- Know what you are investing in! – Never blindly follow what others say. Ultimately, it's your money, take responsibility! Know how the company makes money, what its business model is, who manages the company, etc.
- Do not act under pressure! – After you have chosen what to invest in and done your homework, do not act out of fear when there are drops. Be confident in your portfolios!
The channel team believes it is advisable to build your portfolios correctly to profit from the market long-term: 70% indices/ETFs, 20% value stocks, 10% growth/high-risk stocks. The recent reviews on the channel include some value stocks and some stocks suitable for short-term swing trading. The stop-losses provided on the channel are relevant for swing traders, less so for value investors. I wish everyone green days and nice profits.
