Saudi Arabia's digital revolution:

The rise of a sovereign artificial intelligence power — and its direct impact on the global chip, data center, and cloud sectors 🇸🇦

Saudi Arabia is changing the rules of the game – positioning itself at the heart of the global AI map 🎯

Over the past decade, countries worldwide have realized: control over artificial intelligence is control over the future. 🤖

Now, Saudi Arabia is dramatically joining the race — not as an observer, but as a sovereign, assertive, and visionary player. ⛹️‍♂️

The Saudi AI startup Humain, established only in May 2025 with partial ownership by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced a groundbreaking launch:

The massive language model ALLAM 34B – the largest language model ever created in the Arab world, and the first built specifically for a non-English language. 🗣

The new Humain Chat application is designed to provide a natural, intelligent, and culturally relevant conversational experience for Arabic-speaking and Muslim users worldwide. 💬

Beyond the technological achievement, this is a much deeper step — a declaration of digital sovereignty, control over knowledge and language, and the strengthening of cultural identity in an era where artificial intelligence is becoming humanity's new language. 🔎

ALLAM 34B — a scientific and technological breakthrough on a global scale. The ALLAM 34B model was trained on over 8 petabytes of data, an unprecedented volume in the Arab world, comparable to leading global models like GPT and Gemini. 📱

The model was built to incorporate a deep semantic understanding of Arabic language, religion, history, and culture — allowing Saudi Arabia to enter the generative AI market with a unique language advantage unmatched by any other country in the region. 📱

Humain CEO Tariq Amin's words summarize this well: 🎤 “This is not just a technological breakthrough – it is a declaration of independence. Our artificial intelligence speaks Arabic, thinks in Arabic, and places Saudi Arabia at the heart of global innovation.” Unprecedented infrastructure investments – sovereignty-based artificial intelligence 🏭

Behind this innovation is a powerful plan by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which is transforming Saudi Arabia into a central hub for supercomputing infrastructure and regional data centers. 🇸🇦

The first projects are already underway: Riyadh and Dammam are the first cities where massive data centers are being established, with an initial power capacity of 100 megawatts — with expansion to many hundreds of megawatts expected later. ⌛

The first commercial operations are expected to begin in early 2026, with plans to make Saudi Arabia a central hub for artificial intelligence, data processing, and cloud storage in the Middle East. 📱

The goal is clear:

To build a sovereign AI infrastructure network, not solely dependent on Western giants, and capable of serving other countries in the Middle East and Africa as well. 👀

A new wave of investments — who stands to benefit from the Saudi revolution? 💡

The establishment of massive server farms, investments in data processing, and generative AI services are expected to reignite enormous demand for chips, servers, cooling equipment, communication solutions, and smart power. ⚡️

As with any digital revolution, behind the scenes are the companies that provide the physical foundation for the entire ecosystem:

The chip sector 🖥 $NVDA – Nvidia: The heart of the industry, with H100 and B200 chips found in every new data center worldwide, Saudi Arabia will likely base a large part of its infrastructure on Nvidia accelerators? 📱

$AMD – Advanced Micro Devices: Provides advanced AI chips (MI300X) and EPYC processors for servers – a direct competitor to Nvidia and benefiting from high demand ✔️

$AVGO – Broadcom: A key supplier of optical communication components and network switching in data centers, essential for any infrastructure project. 💫

$TSMC – Taiwan Semiconductor: The actual chip manufacturer for most AI accelerators worldwide – benefits from any expansion of computing capacity 🇹🇼

$SMCI – Super Micro Computer: One of the fastest-growing suppliers of customized AI servers, known for optimizing Nvidia hardware 📱

$DELL and $HPE: Offer massive-scale storage and server solutions, serving as a foundation for industrial AI applications and hybrid data 📀

$VRT – Vertiv Holdings: Provides cooling systems, power management, and energy optimization for data centers – critical in the high heat conditions of the Gulf? ❄️

$PWR – Quanta Services: Specializes in establishing power grids and large-scale technological infrastructures ⌨️

When AI starts speaking Arabic in the Middle East, neighbors can listen 🗣

The launch of ALLAM 34B is not just a technological milestone — is this a declaration of a new era in the Middle East? 🌊

Saudi Arabia is changing the AI landscape, positioning itself at the center of the global value chain for the world's fastest-growing sector. 🏎

This is a sign of a future where AI becomes a mark of progress in the Middle East, and massive adoption in the field by competitive countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the Emirates – is it a matter of time? ⏳
