Iran's 10-point plan is as follows:
1. A guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again.
2. A permanent end to the war, not a temporary ceasefire.
3. Cessation of all Israeli bombings in Lebanon.
4. Removal of all American sanctions on Iran.
5. Cessation of all regional fighting against Iran's proxies.
6. In return, Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz.
7. Iran will charge a transit fee of $2 million for each ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
8. Iran will also share this payment with Oman.
9. Iran "provide rules" for safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz.
10. Iran will use the transit payments for Iran's reconstruction, instead of for reparations.
At the heart of the dispute is the temporary ceasefire point.
While Trump is currently only willing to agree to a temporary halt for negotiation purposes, the Iranians insist on a permanent halt.
Trump's ultimatum is nearing its end, and meanwhile Trump responded that the Iranian proposal is "not good enough".
Currently, the latest reports from Iran are about attacks on Kharg Island, as well as an attack on a central railway bridge.
