$HLT Insider purchases:

Melanie Healey, a board member and advisor to the CEO at Hilton, increased her holdings a few days ago and purchased approximately 2,000 shares of the company at $199.5.

With this purchase, the board member increased her holdings, reaching a total stock holding worth approximately $400,000.

This is the first insider purchase in just over a year; another director bought 695 shares for just under $100,000 in May 2023.

Stock performance: Hilton's stock rose by 42% in the last year due to strong demand for tourism and travel, which pushed earnings up by 29%, while revenue increased by 12%.

Hilton also shows a profit margin of 27%, a positive sign that the business remains strong and the company's brand remains popular.

As of this writing, Hilton is the 3rd largest investment and constitutes 18.2% of billionaire Bill Ackman's investment portfolio.

Following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a significant increase in demand for tourism and leisure; in the attached image above, it can be seen that last year the company fully recovered to pre-COVID-19 revenue levels.
