Elon Musk reveals: Tesla is working on a flying car!
Elon Musk surprises the world (perhaps not us) this time with a dramatic hint that Tesla ($TSLA) may unveil a flying car in the coming months.
During a conversation with Joe Rogan, he managed to press Musk and get the following statements from him:
“This vehicle will not only fly — it will exceed expectations — there's a chance this will be the most memorable product launch ever.” Musk also added that the product might not even be considered a regular vehicle, but something completely revolutionary.
According to him: “If you took all of James Bond's cars and combined them — this would be crazier than that.” The meaning?
According to Musk, Tesla is likely approaching a product that combines electric vehicle technology, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), and perhaps also elements of AI and autonomous aerial driving.
It is important to note this point — Tesla is a global leader in autonomy, which represents the future of the EVTL field — will Musk present an autonomous integrated aerial vehicle?
This could be a historic turning point for the entire field in general and for Tesla in particular?
It might be a future evolution of the Roadster or a completely independent development that will connect the worlds of air and ground transportation.
