China's move next week could be America's biggest nightmare.

Xi Jinping is expected to attend an artificial intelligence conference next week, for the first time in his life.

A first glance might suggest a routine visit,

but this step will be the first overt move in a quiet war that has begun – a war without weapons, without noise, but for the greatest prize in history.

Let me explain,

For the past hundred years, one thing has dominated the world.

Oil.

Whoever had oil also had the economy and the military; wars broke out because of it, and countries collapsed because of it.

Now, this asset is changing in our hands.

The new oil is artificial intelligence.

This is the intelligence that will change everything: factories, armies, money, medicine – everything.

Whoever holds this intelligence will hold the 21st century.

Therefore, the two great powers in the world, America and China, are entering a quiet but ruthless race.

Let's start with America's situation.

America has invested everything in this race. I am not exaggerating; the data speaks for itself.

In the first half of 2025, the American economy grew. But if we subtract the investment in artificial intelligence and data centers, the remaining growth is only 0.1%. That is, almost zero. This calculation was performed by an economist from Harvard University.

There is only one thing keeping this giant country on its feet.

Artificial intelligence.

Its stock market is also like this; a number of artificial intelligence companies breaking historical records are carrying the rest of the market on their backs.

All of America's wealth depends on one statement coming true:

"We will win in artificial intelligence."

But the matter is deeper than just wealth.

Because America is not just investing its money, but also its future in artificial intelligence.

Currently, it has a debt of $39 trillion; such a debt will not be repaid in normal ways.

The only way is for artificial intelligence to grow the economy so much that it does not drown under this debt.

The person who states this most clearly is the richest person in the world.

Elon Musk: If artificial intelligence and robots fail, America will go bankrupt – nothing else can solve this debt.

Therefore, for America, this is not a competition, but a necessity – it must win.

And what about China?

Everyone thought China was lagging in this race; it was said that American companies were leading, and China was running behind.

Then, one day, this belief was broken.

In January 2025, a Chinese company named DeepSeek emerged. It presented artificial intelligence that does the work that giant American companies invested billions of dollars in, for only a few million dollars.

On that day, the American stock market plummeted.

Nvidia lost $589 billion in one day. This is the largest loss by a single company in one day in history.

Think about it.

One of the most valuable companies in the world was wiped out as if it were dust, for an amount equal to the annual budget of an entire country, and the reason was not war or crisis. It was just a cheap AI model from China.

If one Chinese company managed to do this with one model, what will happen if the entire country stands behind it?

Here begins the real big picture.

Because this race is not just about software.

Artificial intelligence stands on three things: energy, manufacturing, and chips. Now, divide these three things between the US and China.

1. Energy.

The real fuel of artificial intelligence is electricity – one data center consumes all the electricity of a city – whoever wins this race will have to find this electricity first.

Here, China is already leading; today, it produces more than twice as much electricity as the US. Furthermore, the new amount of energy it adds to its grid each year is several times greater than the amount the US adds. That is, the gap is not narrowing, it is widening.

2. Manufacturing.

Artificial intelligence is not a cloud, but something physical. Servers, cooling systems, robots, huge factories. The country that builds this body is China. It is the factory of the world. America designs the brain, and China manufactures the body that will carry this brain.

3. Chips.

This is the only place where America leads. It designs the most advanced artificial intelligence chips. To maintain its advantage, it has banned the sale of these chips to China.

But this wall was broken – when China could not get chips, it mobilized its entire country to produce its own chips – DeepSeek has already proven that this work can be done with fewer chips, and at a cheaper price.

So, America is leading with only one leg, and that leg is starting to slip?

This is exactly what makes the fact that Xi Jinping is expected to attend this conference next week so important.

One of the country's leaders is going there himself – this is no longer a matter of trade, but a most central issue for the country.

The fact that Xi will enter this hall is a statement in itself.

China is putting all its weight into artificial intelligence.

The whole world will watch Xi Jinping's speech.

Especially Wall Street.

Because one sentence spoken from that podium can undermine the entire narrative on which the entire American market is based.

In fact, this is nothing new.

History has always operated similarly.

Britain, which was a leader in steam, dominated the century.

America, which held oil and factories, dominated those who came after it.

Now – the question is who will control artificial intelligence.

Sun Tzu said 2,500 years ago: "The greatest victory is that which is achieved without battle."

Next week, Xi will enter only one hall.

But by entering this hall, he will declare that the real struggle of the 21st century has already begun.

This time, the prize is not a country or an oil well; the prize is the entire century.
