Bill Ackman has already been right twice, now he's signaling 3 new stocks
Bill Ackman doesn't need many words to attract market attention,
after in 2022 he signaled $GOOGL around $90, and since then the stock has risen by about 300%.
In 2025 he signaled $AMZN around $170, and since then it has risen by about 65%.
Now, he is signaling three more stocks:
Visa $V, around $360.
Mastercard $MA, around $560.
Netflix $NFLX, around $74.
The interesting point is not just which stocks, but Ackman's timing
Ackman looks for companies with pricing power, a strong business model, and the ability to generate cash flow for years.
Visa and Mastercard are essentially the infrastructure of the global payment system, every shift from cash payments to digital payments increases their market and volume of activity.
Netflix is a slightly different story...
Here, it's a combination of a global brand, pricing power, advertising, and the ability to increase revenue without costs rising at the same pace.
It seems the investor who made hundreds of percent on Google and also had a nice hit with Amazon continues to look for the same thing:
companies that can increase their value over years, and not just stocks the market is excited about for a month.
Ackman has already shown in the past that he knows how to identify racehorses.
Now time will tell if his three new horses will gallop as he thinks, or if this time, the market will make him eat dust?
